The teaching arm of RCCG LSSC. It is a department saddled with the responsibility of teaching the undiluted word of God to members. We fight the good fight of faith by living in obedience and holiness in preparation for heaven and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Worshippers whose lives have been fully offered and accepted by God with a testimony of God’s glory beaming through them as radiant light to permeate all the nations around the world.
This team is made up of trained, educated and informed workers who regularly assist the Pastors to educate the children of the church morally and spiritually. Their impact on children’s spiritual growth is highly critical.
Evangelism is said to be the heartbeat of God, and it is the Great Commission. The church has the obligation to carry out this mandate. In order to achieve this, the church must develop realistic strategies and be well organized in it's efforts. The Outreach team helps to organize and manage church resources in respect of this.
In coordination with the senior pastor, this team is responsible for the financial operations of the church. They are responsible for the accounting, budgeting, banking, record-keeping, and all related activities of the church’s finances. A high level of attention to detail, integrity, and stewardship skills are needed in this ministry.
This team collates lists of names of new converts and visitors at church events so as to follow them up. Additionally, they assemble and keep statistical data of new converts, old, current and new church members to monitor their attendance and advise the Pastorate for possible actions where and when necessary. They also check up on the general well-being of all members.
This team has the responsibility of operating and maintaining the audio/visual equipment during church programs. Also responsible for the graphic designs and media selections that support the communication and marketing of church teachings.
Though every Christian has the obligation to pray, this group is specifically obligated to pray for the church (institution and members) and “lift up the hands of Moses” – the Moses in this case being the Pastor-in-Charge of various levels of administration of the church.
Cleanliness, they say, is next to Godliness. This team is a very important unit without which there will be no conducive atmosphere for on-site services. This unit is not as conspicuous, attractive and sensational as some of the other departments. However, the impact of what they do or fail to do does have immediate effects on the atmosphere of worship in any event of the church – because God is holy.
Ushers administer security, orderliness and the observation of protocols in all church events. Their responsibilities are large and varied. This ministry also manages the church’s kitchen area.
Our student affairs ministry caters to the unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of college and graduate students in our church. This ministry creates opportunities for fellowship through quarterly hang-out events and the campus fellowship ministry at IUP. This ministry also manages the church’s food pantry.
The welfare department is an arm of the Living Spring Community Church (LSCC RCCG) saddled with the responsibility of taking care of and attending to the needs of members of the church and the community in which it operates. The fundamental principle on which the department is founded is love, the love of God, and that of our neighbors.
